It was a nice day for the fourth of July here in Michigan! We got up early and headed out to the beach at 9am so that we would miss the crowds. We stayed a few hours and left when all the poeple started pouring out onto the beach. The water was nice for swimming and Trenton had a great time going in the water. Ava loved the water too. I had a really great picture of her in the water but I accidently deleted it :(

Then we took the kids home and put them down for naps. After nap time we took them to the park to play. And then slushies on the way home!

Barak grilled some BBQ'd pork ribs on the grill and we had a nice big supper and cheesecake for dessert. Then later on we went to the fireworks show with some friends. Trenton loved the fireworks, Ava didn't really care. she was too tired to even think about it. she even fell asleep during the grand finale! You have to be pretty tired to sleep through all that noise!
