Wow, summer just officially started this week but it already seems to be flying by. We have been to the beach quite a bit already and this week the water finally warmed up enough to swim and we planned to go to the beach after church on Sunday, but Barak got sick and didnt feel like going. So hopefully this week on one of the nights we'll head out there again. It's nice because in the summer, Barak gets summer hours 8am-4pm. so he's usually home by 4:30 so that gives us lots of extra time to do something in the evening.

Ava is our little drama queen this summer. She's developing quite the little attitude of entitlement which for the most part earns her a fair share of time outs. Yes, she gets time outs. and Yes, i know she's only 1. she knows what it means to get a time out and when she does something mean to TJ or something bad in general I will tell her "time out" and she will go sit down by the wall. But she is a big helper when its time to put away toys or change her diaper. she goes to bed without any whining and she's very good natured little girl. She loves to eat and play in the water and currently her favorite word to say(ok her only word she says) is bird.

Trenton is growing up too fast. he's starting to understand jokes now and make jokes which is fun. he also is starting to use his mouth to sass more and see how far he can push us. Needless to say, he's quite familiar with the time out spot too. He loves to do boxing on the Wii and play with his trucks and diggers. he loves the beach sand, but not a big fan of the water. His new current obsession is firemen. he loves to pretend he's a fireman, and play with his new big firetruck and sometimes he likes to "rescue" Ava. Although she doens't much like being saved. But he is a very determined fireman so he will stick it out. He loves going to the park with daddy and working in the garden.Boxing on the Wii before bed time

This is Trenton boxing. I love how he falls down when he gets knocked out. :)

Awww that whole post was just too cute.
The pictures of Barak and Ava sitting together are adorable. TJ boxing is funny.
You need to teach Ava "bird is the word" since she likes "bird" so much.
