Life's tough...Then you die...

This has been such a bad week. Its not like anything particularly bad happened, its just been a draining week. I am trying to Potty Train Trenton and it was going well untill a couple days ago when he got diarrehea and then ended up with BAD diaper rash. I could barely change his diaper without him screaming in pain. sitting in the bath tub was painful for him too. and yesterday he ended up getting 3 baths because He has now figured out how to take off his diaper and rub his hands in his poo. yesterday I found him going through the contents of his diaper and wiping it on his shirt. We are remodeling the 3rd bedroom STILL, so everything is all over the place, there are boxes and clothes and stuff just stacked up against any open wall untill we can move things back in the room. The dog is still not completely housebroken(I thought german shepards were supposed to be SMART?!) ::::sigh:::: just stupid small things that all add up. Its been one of those weeks where you feel like crying, but you aren't sure why.

Last night I was on my way to work for my overnight sleeping shift and its a long drive(about 30 min.) so i always listen to the radio because one of my favorite preachers is on at 8:30 at night pastor Adrian Rogers. well last night he was talking about encouragment and it really did encourage me. he used a Peanuts joke in his sermon that went like this....

It started with charilie brown talking to Lucy and Lucy is giving him some advice. she says, Life is like a deck chair, Charlie Brown. On the cruise ship of life, some people place their deck chair at the rear of the ship so they can see where they've been. Others place their deck chair at the front of the ship so they can see where they're going and some place their deck chairs so they can see where they are. "Which way is your deck chair facing Charlie Brown?"
Charlie brown says, I can't even get my deck chair unfolded.
I felt like Charlie brown all week. he never can catch a break. I'm glad i heard that message though, I feel much better today.

Don't even ask....
Trenton LOVES to sweep the floor! too bad he wasn't better at it, one less chore for me to do!

We use a spray bottle of water on the dog for when she misbehaves and tries to play bite/nip at Trenton. Well trenton thinks that is good fun and he always wants us to spray him too. so last night I took a video of him getting sprayed in the face with the water bottle. He keeps saying "more, more more" hahaha..too funny.
