July has been a FULL month. FULL of fun, hot weather, water, sun, sand, grilled food, bug catching, Meijer Gardens, vacation, blueberry picking, trips to the dentist(seriously, all 3 of us went), and getting ready for school.
We have one more month of summer which we will fill with another week of vacation, a couple days of camping at Grand Haven Beach and some other fun things.
This is why I LOVE Sunday Afternoons!! 2 kids sleeping at the same time!!
Fun At the Splash Pad
On one of our trips to Meijer Gardens we always see a sculpture called "Mad Mom" The kids always think that's funny. so this time I did the Mad Mom pose and we took a picture. The kids think this is hillarious and proceeded to call me Mad Mom all day. Ava doesn't exactly ennunciate properly so it always sounds like Bad Mom, which isnt' cool. They said it so many times in one day that we had to put an end to it. Trenton was starting to find names for every one else, like Angry Dad, and Mad Boy.
We waited SO LONG for rain and one day it finally did rain and I told the kids they could go out and splash in puddles and play in the rain. Ava was so excited to wear Trenton's old raincoat. Unfortunately that day the rain only lasted a few minutes.
Bubbles...lots of bubbles...always with the bubbles. and yes, I know she lost her pants. I swear I sent her outside with pants ON.
DRAMAAAAA
Trenton's new favorite thing is hunting for crawfish. He did manage to catch 4 in one day. we took them home and managed to keep them alive for 5 days. Then we took them back to the creek.
He might just be a future farmer...He loves tractors and cows.

Love Ava's dress in that first picture.
Maybe TJ will grow up and be a vet - since he loves animals so much.
Finally, I think I will start calling you "Mad Mom" lol
Em
Your mad mom pose doesn't look "mad" enough-lol I've had some pretty believable mad mom poses over the years.
Bummer on the 2 minute rain! Bet Ava was disappointed.
TJ has found a lot of animals this summer- frogs, crayfish, turtles, rabbits........
