It was so nice to have Mom and Dad here for a week over the Fourth of July holiday.  The only draw back was that it was about 100 degrees every day they were here and very humid.  We didn't get to do a lot of things that we wanted to do outside because it was so hot and miserable that no one wanted to be outside...including the kids!  We did get to do a few things(including picking blueberries when it was 108 degrees) outside and the kids got to swim in their little pool, but mostly we stayed indoors and played games and hung out and went shopping.

Ava fell asleep during the grand finale of the fireworks show.  She was so tired.  I don't know how she slept through that but I guess when you are super tired you can sleep through anything.
