For the past week Trenton has been learning all about the ocean in school. We will be studying ocean life now until the end of the school year. We needed to fill some time since he has learned all his letters and how to write them and what sound they make. I think i'm going to start him on some phonics so he will be reading a little before he hits Kindergarten next year. He knows numbers 1-20 and we will be working on counting more as well. He is loving the ocean theme though and we have been studying one sea animal a day. so far we have learned about turtles, jellyfish, crabs, seashorses, rainbow fish and tomorrow is Octopus day. Thanks to Barak's Aunt Debbie because she let me borrow a whole tote full of ocean theme toys and learning materials as well as color sheets and activities. We also made a jellyfish in a jar, an idea I got from this website
We hung up a fishing net on the wall for him to display all his ocean crafts.

Movie and popcorn night while daddy has to work late.Last weekend we went to the beach to watch the sunset and let the kids play on the playground. It was so nice out. it was nice to get out to the beach in February!! Then off to Culvers for some icecream!

Did TJ really build that puzzle all by himself-great job. You make learning fun for him and I know Ava is learning right along side him. You make a great teacher. Keep up the good work.
