Well we actually got the Blizzard that all the weathermen were talking about. The official count here in Coopersville is 18". By the looks of things outside, we might have snow till May. But at least Barak got a "snow day" out of the deal and Trenton was thrilled to play outside with daddy in the afternoon. At first he just wanted to shovel, but then decided that playing with the truck in the tunnel was more fun. I bundled up Ava in trenton's old snowsuit from when he was a baby and took her out for a little while. she had a hard time walking around in all that gear and was more happy to just sit. I think Barak might have had more fun than either of the kids building tunnels and snow chairs.

Ava will be ONE on sunday!! I can't believe it, it went so fast! It doens't seem like she should be a year old already. But she's definetly not a baby anymore. she's walking around-practically running and she's so smart. She's starting to understand things now and "plays" more. I can already tell the personality differences between Ava and TJ. Ava is so outgoing and social and just "talks" all the time. TJ is more quiet and laid back and very tender hearted. Its fun to see them play together.

Here are some pictures of the kids

Trenton and I took the papers off all the old broken crayons and melted them down into multi-colored crayons. these ones are snowman shaped!
