Update on Us

It has been a busy 2 weeks here. We are all moved into our new home! There was lots of cleaning and painting and reflooring to do. its not completely like we want it, but that will take time. there is only so much you can do at a time.  We painted 2 of the bedrooms and put down hard wood floors in them both. the third bedroom has not been touched yet, but we will get there.  The living room is painted. We chickened out on the redish walls and went with white with a bit of red in it. it still looks white, but i guess if you paint plain white next to it you can tell the difference. We will be working on the bathrooms next.  

It has been such a pain getting internet and phone out here. apparently AT&T does not have service way out here in the sticks so we had to go with a local company and have just now got our DSL hooked up and our new phone line.  we will have unlimited free long distance so i will be able to call everyone again whenever i want and talk for as long as I want!  oh, yeah, and since we don't have at&t anymore I will have to get a new email address. so will be emailing you all my new one in a few days. 

We are going on Vacation with Barak's family next week to Door county in Wisconsin. we have rented a house near the beach.  so that will be fun.  

I started back to work 2 times a week.  I do an overnight shift with a lady with dementia. I just sleep there and help her get up in the night  if she has to get up to use the bathroom.  its so easy and I just get paid to sleep there and help her out.  I go in about 9 at night and stay till about 8 AM.  It will be nice to have a little extra money to throw around.
