Here is our bedroom....Before and after.
Before there was nasty pink carpet and pink walls. Barak and his dad worked hard on pulling up carpet and putting down wood floors and painting the walls. Barak put in a ceiling fan also. the room is not completely done(decoration wise) but its 100 times better than it was before!
Trenton's Room:
His room had the same nasty pink carpet and mint green walls(who would do that?!?!) Again barak and his dad did the flooring and painted the walls a jungle green. we put in a ceiling fan in there too and bamboo blinds(keeping with the jungle theme) Its not completely decorated or CLEANED yet but again, you get the idea. i still need to hang up his jungle animal docorations and bedding.
Kitchen:
Not much changed in here. we are going to paint over the walls that are white just to put on a new layer of paint to freshen it up. but the floor is Tile and looks nice so we are keeping that and the wallpaper is okay for now since it matches our red/black theme in the kitchen. so for now, its okay, but eventually it will be redone. We still need to get a "real" kitchen table but for now, this one works.
Living Room:
the walls were pretty ugly before but now they are a white-ish color. we are eventually going to replace the carpet too, but have not got a chance to yet. there was also a pretty big hole in the wall, but Baraks dad fixed that pretty quick too and now you can't even tell.

I'm not going to bother showing the rest of the house yet because the other bedroom isn't done yet and the bathrooms aren't done. The basement needs new paint and carpet put down in some spots before it can be a family room and baraks office and one of the rooms for my craft room. that will be a HUGE project though so that will all have to wait.
Okay, now here are some Trenton pictures that everyone keeps asking me to post. 
All Tired out. watching everyone else clean and paint and unpack must be exhausting to watch.

let me know if you get this. congratualtions on your 1st new home!!!!!!barak and his dad did a wonderful job on the wood floors. looks really nice. did you buy room darkening blinds for the rooms or light filtering? if you're outside you can see inside your roomif you bought the light filtering. are the walls in your room purple or mauve? i think you said purple. trenton's room looks pretty big. is it bigger than yours? what are the room sizes? jungle theme will be cute in his room. the monkey hanging down from the ceiling is a cute touch. the kitchen is real nice. i like the sliding doors to the outside. does it go out to a deck? send a picture of that. living room looks pretty big. you said you chickened out on paiting it red. maybe you can just paint one wall red. i got that idea from a picture of another house you looked at before. i'm going to paint the wall behind the couch a berry color. if i don't like it -i'll just repaint it cream. goota try something new. we don't want to sink any money into the house if it's gonna sell commercially. they'll just tear it down anyway.
i see lots of potentian for the sidewalk area-flowers or ground cover or lights or both. i like the stones around the tree. would be nice to plant a tree and see it grow every year with t.j. nice house!!!! will be fun fixing it up!!! post more pics. when you can of yard, neighbors, rest of house.

Wow, congrats on your house. It is looking nice. Sure is nice to make a house your own, huh? Trenton is as cute as ever! I love to see his blonde hair. I love the last one.
Oh Janell I am so happy to have found your blog. I was looking at Shannons blog and the title caught my attention. Big congrats to you on your new home. I can only imagine how excited you must feel. I was so happy to see Trenton's pic. He is such a handsome little guy. Hope all is well with you and once again CONGRATS!!!
