Out with the old....In with the new

Everyone keeps asking me why i'm staring this blog and why i'm not doing xanga anymore. Truth is, none of my friends use xanga anymore and there are only 3 people left that actually read my xanga. everyone else gets family info and pictures sent through email or facebook, or myspace or whatever else. I am tired of having to keep up with all these things. So I figured one central location will be nice and everyone that wants to know what is happening in the Schimps life can come here and read all about it. Its simple, its easy to use and you don't have to have an account to make a comment(even though its free and would be nice if you did have one so then i can make comments to you!) So that is whats new. Now on to the updates...

We are going to close on the new house this coming week. we can't wait! everything is packed up pretty much except for what we need for the week. I'm so tired of hearing..."honey, did you pack such and such? I need it" "where did you put the box with ____ in it" I can't tell you how happy i'll be once there are not boxes stacked in the living room and bedrooms. I can't wait to be able to paint the rooms and decorate, especially trentons room. We are going to do a jungle theme in his room so that will be fun to put together. we are also on the lookout for a toddler bed with safty rails. Its almost time for Trenton to move up to a big boy bed.

I'm going to still be working P/T doing overnights for my job. I am thinking about signing on with another agency to get P/T hours there, so that between the 2 I can work about 3 or 4 nights a week. I had an interview with this other agency and I'm still waiting on a call back. they wanted 6 references so I faxed those over to them yesterday. so hopefully i'll hear back soon.
