Starting Pre-K

Trenton was pretty excited to start doing Pre-K this year. He's kind of already been learning since last year with his numbers and letters and shapes and colors. So this year he seems a little too far ahead of the cirriculum, but maybe it will even out some as the year goes on. in the mean time I am finding lots of other things for him to work on like manners, reading time with mom, fun learning games, art, crafts, and fun worksheets, time outside exploring. Even Barak got involved on Friday when I had to be gone most of the day. he did lessons with TJ and then taught him all about the Penny and Lincoln and had him draw a big penny and draw lincoln on it. We started school last week officially and we did school at the table since I did not have a spot for him to do school, but today I got creative and made him his own space in the living room. He is loving it. His favorite thing to do is cut paper.
