AVA's First Year Portraits
Anyone with a one year old will tell you that it is so hard to get them to smile when they are in a new and unfamiliar place. Trying to get Ava to smile was hard enough, but even harder was the fact that she did not like the grass on her bare feet. I thought her pictures would be cute barefoot but it was not meant to be. I luckily had a pair of socks in the diaper bag and a pair of shoes(that didn't really match that well) and once she had those on she felt much more relaxed and not so worried about what was under her toes. So, no big smiles this time, but I think her pictures turned out cute.

she is just beautiful. you prob don't remember this but amber was the same way when she was younger - she HATED to be barefoot in the grass. i guess it's just b/c it's an unfamiliar texture.
would you send me the following photos: #3 from top(close up of ava with red tulips behdind her), #3 from the bottom (horizontal of ava in the grass barefoot with the hat on) and the last photo - which is also my favorite.

Love, love love the pic.! The 2nd one with Ava getting ready to touch the flower and the last one are my definite favorties. Please, please at least send me those two. I was wondering if she wouldn't like the grass on her bare feet-cuz I know TJ didn't either. Remember?
mom, i'll get some developed and send you them. in the next couple of days i'm going to put up a couple of TJs 4 year pictures too and you can pick ones you want and i'll send them all together.
