Fun At Meijer Garden

My small group from MOPS went to Meijer Garden to see the butterfly exhibit. There are hundreds of butterflys flying around that you can look at. sometimes they land on you and the kids thought that was really fun. they even have this big case with butterfly cacoons in them and they are emerging all the time. We mistakenly went when it was Spring Break, so there were tons of people there! It was fun anyway though. outside they have a big area of the park just for kid stuff, water park, big sand pit, huge tree house and lots of other stuff. Trenton had a blast; Ava, not so much. she was getting over being sick (that's why she is bundled up in the outside picture). she was happy to just sit in the stroller the whole time.

I started a new part time job that is work from home, as a transcriptionist. I get paid to transcribe audio files that are sent to me through emial. the starting rate is $7 for every 15 minutes of audio you transcribe. i'm a pretty fast typer(around 90 WPM), but its not that easy to just listen and type. you have to constantly stop and relisten and try to figure out parts that are inaudible. you have to take out all the Umms, uhs, so, like, etc... filler words. sometimes the cilent will want it transcribed verbatum, and sometimes you can change the grammer like "going to" instead of gonna...things like that. I just did one last night that was a workout dvd, and I had to type everythign the girl said. SO ANNOYING and repetative! I had workout music going through my head all night long. lol Its a nice way to earn a bit of extra money. most of the audio files are 30 minutes or 1 hour files.
