Its been kind of busy around here. Thanksgiving is almost here and we will be going to Wisconsin this year to spend Thanksgiving with Barak's family. There is always lots to be done before a trip like that, including switching the carseats from my van to barak's car(which in itself is a huge 40 minute hassle), packing for 2 little kids(why do babies need so much stuff!!), making food for the dinner, getting Schatzi a kennel, etc...etc... Plus Jeremiah and Julie won't be coming this year to MI for christmas so we will be exchanging gifts with them and baby Bella while we are there. So shopping shopping shopping....and I'm making something for Bella so I'm trying to get that done too.
Ava is busy learning to walk. she does about 3 or 4 steps here and there and loves to pick on(i mean play with) Trenton. Sometimes Trenton is okay with sharing sometimes, but if its a favorite toy of his he adopts the philosophy of MINE. What's mine is mine, whats your's is mine, if i'm playing with it it's Mine, if you are looking at it, it's mine, you get the idea..... Ava on the other hand has no attachment to any toy(except her NUK), but she still thinks she should be allowed to have everything. Trenton thinks its his job to say when she is being a trouble-maker and when she should be put in her "playtime". thats his word for her play pen/pack-n-play.

Trenton has been working on his Thankfullness tree this month. we made a bare tree with just branches out of brown construction paper and put it on the wall then we cut out leaves and each day we pick 2 or 3 leaves and write what we are thankful for on them. sometimes it takes him all day to think of something and usually its repeats, but so far he is doing good and our tree is looking "full".

He also helped me fill an Operation Christmas Child box. we went to the store and found toys and socks and hygiene stuff to put in it. He had fun picking out stuff. He knows that the box is going to another little boy that might not get a christmas present this year. It was a good way for him to learn about helping others and giving gift instead of receiving them.
Here are some random pictures of the kids
