For thanksgiving we are traveling to Wisconsin to be with barak's family. We haven't been there for thanksgiving since before Trenton was born I think so its been a while. We are actually having Thanksgiving on Friday instead of thursday though so we will be traveling there on thanksgiving day and coming back home on saturday. Then Trenton and I leave for NY with Dad a couple days later for a week.Thats about it I guess. Here is a short video clip of Trenton jumping in a small pile of leaves in the back yard.

i could actually understand what he said in the video!
although i dont understand why people rake leaves - once you put them in a big pile, then what, put them in garbage bags? wont they just decompose over the winter and be gone by spring?
okay em...since you want to be a home owner I will explain this to you. You can't just leave the leaves in a pile all winter because they will break down and leave a huge brown spot on your grass. the grass will be gone and you'll have to replant more grass where the leaves were. We usually suck ours up with a leaf blower thing and it mulches them up then we put them in a trash can for the garbage man to pick up. and if you don't rake them at all they will still be there after the snow is gone and then they will be a wet soggy mess and new grass won't be able to grow under them.
how cute! em's right- you can clearly understand him. he thought it was fun but not enough to "try again"!
