I am so excited! I just got these sock monkey's in the mail yesterday. I did a trade with another work at home mom. she made me 5 sock monkeys for me and I knit her a pair of longies. I have 4 little girls to buy presents for this year and they are going to love thier little sock monkeys!(i hope!!) i had the mom make me a black and red one for Trenton too. He accidently saw it when I was opening the box and immediately wanted to play with it but i told him he'd have to wait! :) I think they turned out really cute and they would have been $15 each, but like i said, I did a trade so it really cost me nothing, except a few hours of knitting time!
The black one in the middle is for TJ the other ones are for the girls:

These 2 have tutu's and ribbons to make them more girly
THe one on the right looks black but its actually chocolate brown.

those sock monkeys are the cutest things!!!!!!! you kids had some when you were little but not as cute as these. the first three are the cutest. did you have to assemble them or just knit the socks for and tutus for them?
I knit the lady a pair of longies and she made me the sock monkeys. she just bought the socks at target and made them
