Christmas is Coming...

Barak has really been into the Christmas spirit lately...not that i'm complaining! He spent probably 2 or 3 nights last week hanging up christmas lights outside the house. It looks really nice. I tried to get a picture last night of it, but our front trees were a bit in the way, and our house is so long that i could'nt get the other part in the picture by the garage. but i guess you get the idea. some time this week he is going to put lights on the peak of the house too so it doens't look so flat!

I'm about 1/2 way done christmas shopping. i'd like to be done next week or the week after at the latest! i don't want to have to do christmas shopping in December. i hate the crowds and the rude people and all that goes on that is NOT christmas. it just stresses everyone out and then no one enjoys the holiday and what Christmas is really about!

My new nephew is going to be born in a couple weeks! i'm so excited! Its a boy! Michael John..I can't wait till he gets here. although he will be living in Oklahoma and i'll almost never get to see him :(

I finished painting Trenton's toddler bed and getting the wooden animals put on. he loves sitting on the bed and touching each animal. Its definently an improvment over what the bed used to look like(scroll down to previous posts to see pictures). Here is what it looks like now.
I will take pictures of the entire room later. we bought some bookshelves for in there and the room is really starting to come together.
Here is the HeadBoard. when I put the trees on the bottom part, i forgot about the mattress going on the bed, so it sort of covers it up, but oh well. too late now.

Here is the foot board

I'm still looking for a comforter set that is safari/jungle themed. I saw a cute one at target called tiddlewinks safari. its really cute but pricey. and since its a twin size mattress and not a baby crib size its more expensive. so i'm still on the lookout. I may just have to make my own.
